H-1B & H-1B1 — Basic Criteria
- A bachelor's degree or higher — or a recognized equivalent — in the field of the job
- A U.S. job offer in a specialty occupation (IT, engineering, finance, healthcare, and similar fields)
- An employer willing to sponsor you and enter the annual registration (H-1B1: citizens of Chile or Singapore, no lottery)
EB-3 — Basic Criteria
- A full-time, permanent job offer from a U.S. employer
- A fit with one of the categories: Skilled Worker (2+ years of experience or training), Professional (bachelor's degree), or Other Worker (less than 2 years of training)
- An employer willing to complete the PERM labor certification
TN — Basic Criteria
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship
- A U.S. job offer in one of the professions listed under the USMCA (NAFTA)
- The degree or license that the profession requires
E-1 & E-2 — Basic Criteria
- Citizenship of a country that holds a qualifying treaty with the U.S.
- E-1: substantial trade principally between your country and the U.S.
- E-2: a substantial investment in a real, operating U.S. business
- An executive, supervisory, or essential-skills role
H-2A & H-2B — Basic Criteria
- A temporary or seasonal job offer — agricultural (H-2A) or non-agricultural (H-2B) — from a U.S. employer with an approved temporary labor certification
- Citizenship of an eligible country
